It’s safe to say that many of us have grown up watching Lesley Ann Warren dazzle on screen. Whether it was her unforgettable portrayal of Cinderella in the beloved 1965 TV musical, her Oscar-nominated role as a bubbly mob moll in Victor/Victoria, or her Golden Globe-winning performance in the miniseries Harold Robbins’ 79 Park Avenue, Lesley has left an indelible mark on Hollywood. And who could forget her iconic role as Miss Scarlet in the film adaptation of the board game Clue? But despite her long and illustrious career, Lesley isn’t one to dwell on the past. At 73, she’s embracing life with all the joy and grace of someone who truly understands what it means to live in the moment.
“Right now, it’s such an incredible time for me. I’ve been working non-stop since I was 17, and now I can focus on what truly matters without the frustration and pain that often comes with being a younger actor,” Lesley exclusively shared with Closer Weekly in the magazine’s latest issue, currently available on newsstands. “Everything I do now feels like a gift, and I’m so grateful for it.”
Lesley recently reunited with her longtime friend and collaborator, Brian Dennehy, for a new film dramedy called 3 Days With Dad. But beyond her professional accomplishments, it’s her personal life that truly brings her joy. Her 19-year marriage to her second husband, advertising executive Ron Taft, has been a source of immense happiness and stability for her.
