Two years later, they expanded their family by welcoming their son, John Asher. Unfortunately, like her first marriage, Joyce and Edward’s union didn’t last, and they parted ways in 1974.

A Lifetime of Love Stories

Now, here’s where things get even more interesting. Joyce’s love life didn’t stop there. In 1976, she tied the knot with her third husband, William Asher. But when that marriage didn’t work out, she moved on to find happiness with her fourth spouse, Glade Bruce Hansen, in 2000. That relationship lasted just one year before she said “I do” again in 2002, this time to actor Roger Perry. They shared 16 beautiful years together until Roger’s passing in 2018. Through all these ups and downs, Joyce has remained steadfast in her commitment to her family.

Today, at the age of 80, Joyce is fully embracing her life as a single woman. Sure, she misses Roger terribly, but she’s found joy in focusing on her career and her family. And let’s not forget about her role as a grandma! Joyce is the proud grandmother of her grandson, Evan, and she absolutely loves every second of it. “Oh, I love it,” she joked with Closer. “You really get to spoil them, and sometimes you even get to explain why their parents treat them the way they do. It’s all my fault!” she quipped, before adding, “No, I truly love being a grandmother.”
