You probably remember Barry Williams as Greg Brady, the cool older brother from the beloved ABC sitcom The Brady Bunch, which aired from 1969 to 1974. But today, Barry’s life is a lot more about family than fame. He’s a devoted dad to two kids, Brandon and Samantha, and his focus is raising them with love and support.
Barry Williams’ life as a dad began through his relationships with two amazing women. First up, his second wife, Eila Mary Matt. Barry tied the knot with Eila in 1999, and they welcomed their son Brandon into the world on January 24, 2003. At the time, Barry’s manager, Anthony Anzaldo, shared the happy news with the Midland Daily News, revealing that Brandon weighed in at 7 pounds, 7-and-a-half ounces and was a whopping 20 inches long. Can you picture it? A little bundle of joy joining the family!
Unfortunately, Barry and Eila’s marriage didn’t last long, and they parted ways in 2005. But Barry didn’t stay single for long. He started dating Elizabeth Kennedy, and in April 2012, they expanded Barry’s family again. They welcomed Samantha, who arrived a little earlier than expected—nearly a month before her due date on April 23. Life can be unpredictable, but it’s always exciting!

Barry’s love life has been a rollercoaster. After his marriage to Elizabeth didn’t work out, he found love again with his third wife, Tina Mahina, in 2017. They’ve been together ever since, but they’ve decided not to add more kids to the family. Tina and Barry are clearly enjoying their time as a couple, focusing on each other and their blended family.
Throughout the years, Barry has kept his kids out of the public eye, choosing to protect their privacy. They haven’t joined him at any Hollywood events, and Barry hasn’t shared photos of them on social media. He doesn’t even have an Instagram account, which shows how much he values his family’s privacy in this digital age.
In an exclusive interview with Closer in August 2021, Barry opened up about his kids’ interests and personalities. “My son Brandon is a musician,” Barry proudly shared, adding that because Brandon is a full-time student, he hasn’t decided if music will be his career path. As for Samantha, Barry described her as a “natural,” with a big personality that lights up any room. Isn’t that just heartwarming?
Barry isn’t sure if his kids will follow in his footsteps and enter the entertainment industry, but he’s completely supportive of whatever they choose to do. “You know, I’m a dad, so I would be 100 percent supportive of whatever they chose to do,” Barry gushed. That’s the kind of unconditional love every parent dreams of giving their kids.
