Ben Stiller's Journey To Happiness: Professionally And Personally

Hey there! Let's talk about Ben Stiller. You know him, right? The hilarious guy behind some of the funniest movies ever made. Well, Ben is doing great right now, both in his career and personal life. His Emmy-winning show Severance, which he executive produces, is back for another season on Apple TV+. And guess what? He and his wife, actress Christine Taylor, have reunited after being apart for several years. "I’m so grateful for it," Ben, 59, says in a heartfelt moment. "Not many couples manage to come back together after separating. It’s an incredible feeling when you do. You appreciate what you have so much more because you know it could’ve been gone forever."

Ben and Christine, 53, first met back in 1999. She auditioned for a TV series Ben was directing, though the project didn’t get picked up. "We were both healing from past relationships," Ben recalls. "We went on a date, and it was love at first sight." Things moved pretty quickly for them. "We knew each other for just six months, got engaged, married within a year, and then had our daughter Ella the following year," Christine says. She’s worked closely with Ben on some of his biggest hits, including Zoolander, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Tropic Thunder, and Zoolander 2. But life wasn’t always smooth sailing. During the filming of their last movie together in 2016, Ben admits, "My marriage wasn’t in a great place. There was a lot going on, and it was tough."

Fast forward to May 2017, and the couple announced their separation after 17 years of marriage. But here’s the thing—they never stopped being a family. "We always stayed a family unit," Christine shares. When the pandemic hit, she invited Ben to move back in with her and the kids. "It was almost a year of living under the same roof before we officially reconnected," Ben explains. The pandemic gave them the time they needed to work through their differences. "We’ve always been connected," he adds. "In my mind, I never stopped wanting us to be together."
