Clint Eastwood Embraces Grandfatherhood With Style And Grace
There's nothing quite like watching a legend step into the role of grandpa, and Clint Eastwood is doing it with all the charm and warmth you'd expect from the Hollywood icon. When Closer Weekly caught up with Clint’s daughter, Alison Eastwood, at the Last Chance for Animals’ 35th Anniversary Gala, she opened up about her dad's newfound love for his grandson, Titan, Francesca Eastwood's baby boy.
“It’s truly delightful. I think he’s really enjoying this phase of life, and I’m so happy to see him take it easy a bit,” Alison exclusively shared with Closer. She went on to describe how Clint’s work-life balance has shifted over the years. “When I was growing up, he was constantly on set or traveling for films. I hardly saw him. But now? He’s filming just one movie a year, which gives him plenty of time to focus on family. We have regular dinners together, filled with laughter, jokes, and good company. It’s such a joy to have him around more often.”

Clint Eastwood: The Ultimate Grandfather
Alison didn’t stop there when praising her father. She made it clear that Clint has always been an incredible father—and now, he’s proving to be an even better grandfather. “He’s been nothing short of amazing,” she gushed. “Titan is absolutely adorable, and I adore spending time with him. He’s such a sweet kid who loves interacting with the animals we have at home. Watching him bond with our dogs and cats is heartwarming.”
For Alison and her husband, Stacy Poitras, having Titan around has been a source of immense happiness. Although they chose not to have children of their own, they’ve embraced the idea of Titan being their "surrogate child." “It’s been so much fun having him around,” Alison joked. “Of course, when the tears start rolling, we’re quick to hand him back to his mom. But hey, we get all the cuddles without the sleepless nights!”
