There’s nothing quite like making unforgettable memories with the people you love most, and for actress Marcia Cross, spending time with her twin daughters, Savannah and Eden Mahoney, is truly special. Recently, the beloved star of Desperate Housewives was spotted enjoying a delightful dinner outing with her girls at Coral Tree Café in Brentwood, California, on June 15. The trio appeared to be having a wonderful evening, laughing and bonding over their meal. It’s moments like these that remind us how important it is to savor life’s simple joys with family.
On this particular evening, Marcia, now 60, opted for a relaxed look, wearing a stylish striped black sweater paired with comfortable jeans and sneakers. Meanwhile, her daughters, Savannah and Eden, both 15, kept things cozy in sweatshirts while sporting practical ponytails. As they entered the café together, the actress could be seen chatting animatedly with her girls, sharing stories and giggles along the way. There’s something undeniably charming about watching a mom connect so deeply with her kids—it’s a reminder of the lasting impact these shared experiences can have on all of us.
This wasn’t the first time the Cross-Mahoney family has been seen enjoying quality time together. Over the years, Savannah and Eden have joined their mom on various outings, whether it’s shopping trips around California or simply heading home after school. These twins are part of a loving family unit that includes their dad, Tom Mahoney, whom Marcia married back in 2006. Together, this close-knit family has navigated life’s ups and downs, supporting one another through thick and thin.

The Cross-Mahoney family has faced significant health challenges over the years, but their unwavering commitment to each other has only strengthened their bond. In 2009, Tom bravely battled throat cancer, with Marcia by his side every step of the way. Then, in 2017, Marcia herself faced a personal battle against anal cancer, undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Thankfully, she’s now in remission, and the entire family celebrated a major milestone when Savannah and Eden graduated in June 2019. During an interview with CNN, Marcia expressed immense gratitude for being able to witness this significant moment in her daughters’ lives.
"As I sat at my twin daughters’ graduation yesterday," Marcia reflected, "I was so grateful to be alive and well. If I could give that gift of health to another person, it would make everything worthwhile." Her words underscore the depth of her love and appreciation for her family, reminding us all of the importance of cherishing those we hold dear.
While Marcia may keep her family life relatively private on social media, the glimpses she does share reveal just how much motherhood means to her. On Instagram, she occasionally posts heartfelt tributes to her daughters, such as a touching Mother’s Day message in 2021 where she called being a mom a "dream come true" and a "profound honor." Even as her girls grow older, Marcia remains deeply connected to them, celebrating milestones like their first day of high school in August 2021. With a playful caption, she marked the occasion: "And away they go!! At least it’s not to college… yet. For all of you who just did that drop-off, my heart goes out to you."
