It seems that Vanna White has taken it upon herself to play matchmaker for Ryan Seacrest, and she’s not holding back. The two have grown close while filming Wheel of Fortune together, and sources say Vanna is on the hunt for potential girlfriends who might catch Ryan's eye.
In an exclusive interview with Closer, an insider revealed, “Vanna finds it hard to believe Ryan is still single. He’s handsome, sweet, and incredibly successful. It boggles her mind that he hasn’t met someone special yet.” According to the source, Vanna believes Ryan is getting in his own way by choosing women who aren’t right for him. “She’s convinced that if Ryan lets her set him up, she can find him the perfect match,” the insider added.
Ryan Seacrest, who celebrated his 50th birthday in December 2024, is keeping himself busy with a variety of projects. From hosting American Idol and his radio show to taking over the role of host on Wheel of Fortune after Pat Sajak stepped down, Ryan’s schedule is anything but light.

Many fans have been wondering if Ryan is actively seeking love amidst his hectic routine. The source shared, “Ryan works so much these days that he barely has time to meet people. He’s not a fan of online dating, so he’s agreed to let Vanna help him out. He trusts Vanna and believes she won’t steer him wrong.” However, Ryan has one condition: he wants to see pictures before agreeing to a date.
Ryan’s last public relationship was with model Aubrey Paige Petcosky, which ended in a surprising split in April 2024. The couple dated for three years before calling it quits. Although much of their relationship was kept private, Aubrey, 27, did make an appearance at Ryan’s final episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan in April 2023.
Ryan has been open about his desire to have children in the future. During a December 2021 interview with WSJ Magazine, he said, “I start thinking about blocking off certain times in my month or year or week to focus on my personal life. I do want to have kids. But I haven’t even gone down that path, which is nuts at my age. I think in the last year, it’s become clear to me that yes, I do want to do that … I want to be available and present.”
In the same interview, Ryan mentioned that his mom, Connie Seacrest, had “given up” on him having kids. He also discussed his desire to start a family during an October 2020 episode of his radio show, saying, “It was weird because Halloween changed me. I saw some of my friends’ kids get excited about it. Then I see my niece, and she’s so beautiful. … If you asked me when I was 40 a few years ago, ‘Do you want kids?’ [I’d say], ‘I don’t know’ — and now, all of a sudden, all I can think about is, ‘Wow, how do I do that? I’m getting older. What are the options?’”
